The Ebony LTD Company has been founded by Patty Cortes and aims at promoting cultural diversity as well as black culture inSL. Miss and Mister SL Ebony 2008 have been created for two reasons. First, we are a real black community in SL and we are bored not be seen as a valuable market by most sl skin designers and fashion designers. Secondly, we would like to reward those who take the time to design stuff for tan, dark tan, black and ebony avatars.

The dream team is actually judging the pageant : Vixen Fairplay (Lead officer of BMW of SL group), Shaka Saintlouis (Designer of Shakture), Indyra Seigo (designer of Indyra Originals), Storm Babeli (Designer of Purple Rose Jewelry), Kwamey Pinion (designer of SOREAL) and Patty Cortes (CEO of Ebony Limited and Owner of Ebony City).
